To get around the city of Utrecht, there are a couple of methods. The venue is at the Hoog Catherijne Mall, which is directly connected to the Utrecht Centraal railway station. That means that nearly all public transport is nearby.
- Public transport
- Bus and tram: U-OV – 1 day ticket €6, 3 days ticket € 11,50. Only valid in U-OV busses and trams, not in the trains.
The U-OV Day ticket can be purchased at the OV Service Store conveniently located in the main hall of Utrecht Central Station (trains). - Train: NS – get an e-ticket or buy a single ticket at the vending machines.

- Taxi
- There are plenty of them, not very cheap but can be recognized by the ‘Taxi’ sign and the blue license plate.
- On foot
- Bike
- If you don’t bring your own bike, you could try to rent one. Rental starts at €7,50 per day for an ordinary bike. Check out BimBimBikes for bike rental companies.
Intending to go around by car? The answer is short: DON’T. Parking rates are exorbitant high in Utrecht (almost €5 per hour!). There are a lot of construction sites down town, so your navigation unit won’t be able to give the proper directions.
