Thomas Audunhus

Thomas is the Head of WordPress and WooCommerce at Servebolt.com, the high performance managed hosting for WordPress and WooCommerce. He has been in the web industry 7 years, and working with digital stuff even longer. He built his first WordPress site with WordPress v2.3.

He is a passionate web performance advocate, and have built some of Norway’s fastest WooCommerce stores. He is tech thru and thru, and has recently started the project of turning his home into a DIY smart home.

Thomas believes that the community is the most important part of WordPress, and that is partly the reason why he was the lead organiser for WordCamp Oslo 2018, and will be so again for the 2019 edition.

Thomas always thinks big and truly believes in challenging the status-quo, which the regular WordCamp attendee will see in the next 3 years.

When Thomas want to relax he first goes for a run and then fires up the barbecue, and makes a mean steak as a reward for himself.

Have a chat with Thomas about performance and scalability in WordPress, how WordCamp should evolve, smart homes or how to make an awesome grilled steak.
